Two Carrie Lee 4^th graders from Mrs. Stacy Knight’s classroom were honored during the annual Northeast Iowa Reading Council meeting via Zoom.  Christian Volz is a district poetry writing contest winner for his poem “December Signs of Winter,” and Abram Cumming won with his creative writing piece entitled “Every Bite.”

The students had the opportunity to Zoom with Minnesota author Kevin Lovegreen, and they received a gift certificate from Dragonfly books and a certificate from the council to honor their work.
