On Saturday, April 19th at Silvercrest Country Club, Decorah High School’s chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) will be hosting a “Birdies for Business” 18-hole four person best shot golf tournament. The proceeds of this event will support students who hope to attend the FBLA National Leadership Conference competition in Anaheim, California, this summer. The entry fee is $120 per team, with registration beginning at 9:00 am and a shotgun start at 10:00.

FBLA advisor Alyssa Marso stated, “DHS FBLA members worked very hard and came home with ten national qualifiers from the state-level competition! The qualifiers are hoping to attend the national-level competition in Anaheim, so the proceeds of this tournament could go a long way in supporting their efforts. We have space for up to 24 teams in the tournament, so the more teams we get registered, the better.”
