We are very excited to introduce SchoolCafé as our new DCSD Nutrition Services system for the 2025-2026 school year!
The SchoolCafé Family Hub will allow families to:
- Make Online Payments
- Submit Free and Reduced Meal Applications
- View Purchase History and Set Purchase Restrictions
- Get Low Balance Alerts
Meal accounts will be by individual student, rather than by family as it has been in the past. Each family will need to create a Family Hub account to connect their students. Please create your Family Hub account at https://family.schoolcafe.
Online Payment
In order to make an online payment, families must have a SchoolCafé Family Hub account.
Cash or Check Payment
If meal funds are brought to school without specific instructions on how to deposit the lunch money, the total dollar amount will be split by the number of family members in the account.
- Elementary students may give money to their teachers.
- Middle School students may take money to the Administrative Assistant.
- High School students may take money to the Administrative Assistant or the Kitchen Manager.
Important Lunch Policy Information
The USDA has issued regulations mandating that school districts implement unpaid meal policies. Please review Board Policy Code No. 707.4 regarding Food Service Negative Balance Policy.
