Eligibility
Decorah Community School District students may be eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals in accordance with guidelines set forth by the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. Eligibility is based upon household income and family size.
To be considered for eligibility, families must complete a new application each school year.
Free and Reduced Application
Parents and guardians can now submit the Free and Reduced Meal Application online through SchoolCafé Family Hub. The online application is a quick and easy way to apply for meal benefits. Please allow up to 2 to 3 business days for processing of the application. A confirmation letter of approval or denial will be emailed or mailed once the application has been reviewed.
To complete an online application, families must have a SchoolCafé Family Hub account with all students who live in the household connected to the account. For assistance or questions, please contact Abby Halderson at 563-382-4208.
