Matthew Steven exemplifies patience, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to every student and family he serves. He cares deeply about the whole child and works to ensure students have what they need to be successful, both in and out of the classroom. In addition to his direct support of students and families, Mr. Steven teaches Life Skills classes that help students understand and model integrity, empathy, and other essential character traits. He also serves as the district’s Homeless Liaison and Migrant Liaison, playing a critical role in advocating for some of our most vulnerable students. As a crucial link between students, families, schools, and the community, Mr. Steven connects families to vital resources and helps resolve challenges that impact student success. Through his work, he supports improved attendance, mental health, behavior, and academic achievement, while also facilitating parent involvement and advocating for student needs across the district.
