In the Spotlight
We are so fortunate to have Paulette Darling as the Kitchen Manager at Carrie Lee! Paulette brings patience, kindness, and a smile to every part of her day. If a student drops a tray, forgets silverware, or needs a little extra help, she is quick to reassure them and make sure everything is okay. Paulette also takes special care to see that no student ever goes away hungry—she wants every child to leave the lunchroom with enough food and a full heart. Students love that Paulette jokes around with them, her warmth, and her encouragement, and she has built positive relationships with all who pass through the lunch line. As a colleague, Paulette is always willing to step in and lend a hand, while also showing genuine appreciation for others’ support. Paulette is a wonderful kitchen manager, and we are so thankful for her hard work, dedication, and care for our school community!
