Decorah Music Boosters and Decorah Community Schools Purchase New Concert Grand Piano
Through the joint financial efforts of the Decorah Community School District and the Decorah Music Boosters, a new grand piano has been purchased for use in the Decorah High School auditorium. The seven-foot Schimmel instrument will benefit for years to come all K-12 students of the Decorah Community School District as well as students from St. Benedict’s school for their rehearsals and performances.Â
The faculty, staff, and students would like to thank the Decorah Music Boosters and the Decorah School Board for their combined commitment of $30,000 to support the musical efforts of all students and ensembles through the purchase of this high quality instrument.
