In the Spotlight
Dan McCaffery started driving for the district in 1992. Dan has primarily driven the Freeport route during his career at Decorah Schools. Dan has always gone the extra mile for the district. He had approximately 60 plus students on his route as well as running a shuttle from John Cline to Carie Lee and he knew every one of the kids by name. Dan rarely misses work and has always been available in case of a busing emergency. Dan is very active in transporting students for sporting events, especially baseball. In fact, Dan has been a fixture of support for all high school teams. His attendance at home events and safe driving on the road is always noticed and appreciated.
